Information, enquiries and contracts

The website describes business-to-business support services and is provided for general information. Sending an enquiry does not create a contract or require either party to proceed.

A service begins only after the scope, deliverables, fees and relevant terms have been confirmed in writing. The separate service agreement will take priority if it conflicts with these website terms.

Retainers and payment

Prices and retainer suggestions shown on the website are indicative, are not offers capable of acceptance and may change. The final scope, monthly fee, billing date, any applicable VAT, cancellation arrangements and charges for additional work will be confirmed in the written proposal or service agreement.

Monthly retainers are invoiced in advance and include the number of support hours stated in the written proposal or service agreement. Support is reserved and work begins or continues once the relevant payment has been received. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, unused hours do not roll into a later month. If a renewal payment is late, work may pause and reserved availability may be released. Any work outside the agreed retainer will be discussed and quoted separately before it begins.

Working hours and out-of-hours requests

Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm UK time. Work outside these hours must be agreed in writing beforehand. Agreed out-of-hours work is charged at £45 per started hour, with a minimum charge of £45 even where the work takes less than one hour.

AI-assisted tools

Where appropriate and permitted by the client agreement, Dragonfly Business Support may use approved AI-assisted tools to support drafting, organisation, summarising, research or content development. AI output is subject to human review and does not replace professional judgement. Confidential or personal information is handled in accordance with the privacy notice and any client-specific instructions.

Using the website

You may use this website for lawful purposes and to learn about or enquire about services. You must not attempt to interfere with its security or operation, introduce malicious code, scrape it in a way that disrupts the service, or use its content unlawfully.

Intellectual property

The Dragonfly Business Support name, logo, website design and original website content belong to Kerry Wardlaw or are used with permission. You may view and print pages for your own internal reference, but may not reproduce or commercially exploit them without written permission.

Accuracy and availability

Reasonable care is taken to keep information accurate and the website available. Content may be updated, suspended or withdrawn, and uninterrupted or error-free access cannot be guaranteed. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience; Dragonfly Business Support is not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Liability and legal rights

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or removes any mandatory statutory rights. Subject to that, Dragonfly Business Support is not responsible for loss caused by relying on general website information instead of agreed professional or contractual advice.

Governing law

These website terms are governed by Scots law and the Scottish courts will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights that apply. A client service agreement may contain its own governing-law clause.
